Agile Consulting were appointed as Project Manager to lead the client’s team through the design, procurement and delivery of the subdivision of an existing 20,000sqft retail unit, to form 2 small units for Decathlon and Dixons. This challenging project required full retail operations to be maintained by Decathlon throughout the build, minimising any impact to customer’s retail experience, whilst delivering a new space for Dixons to occupy against a tight Christmas trading period timetable. Through the close coordination of sub-contract packages and maximisation of concurrency in the programme, the project was not only completed 1 week early, giving Dixons additional fit-out time, but also under budget, further reducing Tesco’s liability through reduced CapEx costs and rental income losses.
